Just like contacting me at the onset of labor, I encourage you to contact me early on in your pregnancy if you are interested in getting more information! Because of the unpredictable nature of birth, I can only “schedule” 2-3 births a month at this time.
When you contact me for more information, we will schedule a time to meet in person, where you can get to know me, ask any additional questions you may have, we will go over my client contract, & I can make note of your labor & birth desires. At that time, you can either book your due date with me with a $600 deposit for abirth coverage booking, or I will tentatively hold your due date for up to one week after our initial meeting. Remainder of your session fee is due 4 weeks before your due date. You can make smaller payments up until that time, but to prepare for possible premature labor I do request everything to be paid in full by the time you are 36 weeks. Once you have hired me as your birth photographer, we will stay in periodic contact. It is helpful for me to hear how your pregnancy is progressing & how your appointments go with your care provider, especially if any complications should arise. If you have chosen to add the Letter Reading session to your package, then around 30 weeks (but earlier if fine too of course!) you should begin working on writing your letter to your baby. At 30 weeks I will send you a helpful guide with questions that can move you along with this process. We will schedule your Letter Reading session around 36 weeks, which takes place in your home. After that point, I wait to hear from you that you are in labor! No matter if it turns out to be a false alarm, if it’s just Braxton Hicks, or if you simply want to talk, 🙂 please give me a heads up! Earlier notice is always better than an unexpectedly quick labor and delivery & I miss the birth!
Depending on your package choices, I may or may not be seeing you again for more photos after your baby is born. Your slideshow or film will be uploaded for your approval within 4-6 weeks. All products ordered will be delivered within 8 weeks of your last session.
